Persone holds a Doctorate in Music ? D.M.A. - in Historical Performance, Clavichord, Fortepiano, and Harpsichord from Boston University (2006), Master of Music degree from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (1995) and a degree in Music from the State University of Campinas (1991). Has experience in the area of Arts ? Music - with emphasis on Musicology and Performance Practices on the following topics: fortepiano, harpsichord, clavichord, musical rhetoric, music of the Baroque, Classical, and Pre-Romantic periods. From 2007 to 2010 developed a Post-Doctoral research supported Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo - FAPESP to study FORTEPIANO AND CHAMBER MUSIC COMPOSED BETWEEN 1790 AND 1826 IN THE COLLECTION THEREZA CHRISTINA MARIA: AN APPROACH ACCORDING TO PRACTICES RELATED TO THE PERIOD at Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP under the advice of Professor Paulo Castagna. He is currently Associate Professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria.

In 2016 he developed a Post-Doctoral research on the harpsichord in Spanish and Portuguese Colonial America at Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto ? USP ? Departamento de Música under the supervision of Professor Rubens Russomanno Ricciardi. From 2010 to 2018 he was Associate Professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - UFSM. Since January 2018 he is the Pedagogical Adviser to the Conservatório de Tatuí.
