Amanda Leonardi de Oliveira

Bacharel em Letras, com ênfase em língua inglesa, pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2009-2014) e Mestre em Letras (2018-2020) pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação do Instituto de Letras da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Área de Concentração: Estudos de Literatura; Linha de Pesquisa: Sociedade, (Inter)textos e Tradução nas Línguas Estrangeiras Modernas), no qual produziu e defendeu a dissertação "The Imp from the Underground: Manifestations of the Unconscious in Edgar Allan Poe and Fyodor Dostoevsky", sob orientação da Profa. Dra. Elaine Indrusiak. Atualmente trabalha como assistente em administração na UFRGS e escreve ficção, tendo obras publicadas em antologias nacionais, além de seguir na pesquisa acadêmica, tendo como principais focos de interesse estudos de representações biográficas de Edgar Allan Poe na ficção, estudos de adaptação, estudos do Gótico, psicanálise e escrita criativa.

Graduated in Literature at UFRGS (2009-2014), with a Master's Degree at the same university, during which was produced the thesis titled "The Imp from the Underground: Manifestations of the Unconscious in Edgar Allan Poe and Fyodor Dostoevsky", advised by Dr. Elaine Indrusiak, defended and approved in 2020. Currently works as an administrative assistante at UFRGS, writes fiction, having published some works in national anthologies, and continues doing academic research, having as main fields of interest studies of biographical representations of Edgar Allan Poe in fiction, adaptation studies, Gothic literature studies, psychoanalysis and creative writing.
