Patricia da Cruz Favaro

Dr. Favaro was born and raised in Brazil, she graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2015 by University of Northen Paraná, Brazil. Right after Veterinary School she started a Master Degree in Animal Science, researching about thermoregulation and US Doppler in bulls as well with sperm morphology, finishing the program in 2017. She worked for a year with Equine Reproduction, one of her passions, until immigrate to the US in 2019. Lived in Oregon with her husband Dr. Koetz and their son Carlos for three years where she had the opportunity to work as Embryologist in one of the biggest Bovine In-Vitro fertilization laboratory in the U.S. Recently moved to California and started to work at Azores Veterinary Practice focusing in Ovum Pick-up collection for bovine In-Vitro Production Embryos and at Taylor Equine Hospital dealing and learning about equine reproduction, Internal medicine and surgery. Her major interest include embryo and oocyte developing and collection, advanced reproduction technology, all about equine reproduction and dentistry. Always with an open mind, willing to learn and get out of her comfort zone.

Has experience in Veterinary Medicine, focusing on Animal Reproduction, acting on the following subjects: bovinos, tendência genética, biotecnologia da reprodução, novilhas de corte and equinos.
