Bernardo Queiroga Souki

Dr. Souki graduated in Dentistry in 1988 at the School of Dentistry of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 1991 he completed his full-time residency program in Pediatric Dentsitry at the University of São Paulo Faculty of Dentistry (Ribeirão Preto, Brazil). In 1996, he achieved the Master Degree in Dentistry also at the School of Dentistry of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with his dissertation based on a critical appraisal of the "Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontic Management by Pediatric Dentists". His certification in orthodontics was obtained in 1997 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. In 2009, he completed the PhD program in Health of Children and Adolescents, at the Medical School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with his Thesis based on a prospective assessment of the effects of adenotonsillectomy on facial growth of children. He holds a faculty position in the Graduate Program in Dentistry of the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, in Belo Horizonte Brazil (Adjunct 4 level Professor). Dr. Souki maintain a private practice in Belo Horizonte, based solely in the orthodontic treatment of young patients.
