Gustavo Xavier Damasceno

O autor possui mestrado em Relações Internacionais pela Puc-Rio (2012). Graduado em História Social (2007) pela UFC (Universiade Federal do Ceará). Mestrado com ênfase na relação entre literatura e política a partir da obra mágico-realista de Gabriel García Márquez, Cem Anos de Solidão e sua repercussão nas relações de poder mundiais (estético/político). Durante a graduação desenvolveu pesquisa na área de história cultural em torno do trabalho portuário em Fortaleza nas décadas de 20 e 30 do século XX. Atualmente, interessa-se por temas envolvendo as temáticas das artes, filosofia da história, política mundial e teoria pós-colonial.

The author holds a Masters in International Relations from the PUC-Rio (2012). Graduated in Social History (2007) by the UFC (Universiade Federal do Ceará). Masters with emphasis on the relationship between literature and politics from the work magical realist Gabriel García Márquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude and its effects of worldwide power relations (aesthetical and political). During undergraduate developed a research in cultural history about the relationship of port workers of Fortaleza on the 20's and 30's of the twentieth century. Currently, the author is interested in many subjects, especially issues that involve arts, philosophy of history, world politics, postcolonial theory.
