Gabriela de Brito Caruso

Gabriela Caruso é doutora em Sociologia pelo Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos da UERJ (IESP-UERJ), onde integra como pesquisadora o Núcleo de Estudos de Teoria Social e América Latina (NETSAL). É pesquisadora no Departamento de Educação Profissional do Senac DN. Mestre em Sociologia pelo Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos da UERJ (IESP-UERJ). Graduada em Ciências Sociais pela Escola Superior de Ciências Sociais e História da FGV. Suas áreas de interesse incluem: sociologia, pensamento brasileiro, teoria feminista, estudos de gênero, produção e circulação científica e teoria social, ensino superior, educação profissional.

Sociology PhD from the Institute of Social and Political Studies at UERJ (IESP-UERJ), where also a researcher in the Center for Studies on Social Theory and Latin America (NETSAL). Researcher at the Professional Education Department of Senac DN. Master's degree in Sociology from the Institute of Social and Political Studies at UERJ (IESP-UERJ) and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the School of Social Sciences and History at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Areas of interest include sociology, Brazilian thought, postcolonial thought, latin american sociology, feminist theory, gender studies, scientific production and circulation, social theory, higher education, and professional education.
