Luciano de Morais Pinto

Graduado em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade de Alfenas - UNIFENAS (1996), com mestrado (1999) e doutorado (2002) em ANATOMIA DOS ANIMAIS DOMÉSTICOS E SILVESTRES pela Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade de São Paulo FMVZ/USP. Atualmente é Professor Adjunto III do Departamento de Morfologia da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria UFSM onde leciona a disciplina de Anatomia Animal vinculada para os cursos de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia (conceito 5 ENADE). Acumula mais de 25 anos de experiência em ensino e pesquisa com ênfase em Anatomia Animal nos seguintes temas: morfologia cardiovascular, biologia do desenvolvimento e Adapatações morfoplásticas do sistema digestivo de ruminantes. É professor orientador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Anatomia dos Animais Domésticos e Silvestres da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade de São Paulo (conceito 7 CAPES) e atua como pesquisador colaborador em outros centros de pesquisas no Brasil e exterior..

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Alfenas - UNIFENAS (1996), with master degree (1999) and PhD (2002) in ANATOMY OF DOMESTIC AND WILD ANIMALS by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo FMVZ/USP. He is currently Adjunct Professor in the Morphology Department of the Health Sciences Center at the Federal University of Santa Maria UFSM/RS where he teaches the discipline of Domestic Animal Anatomy linked to the Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science courses. He has 19 years' experience in teaching in this area of Agrarian Sciences with emphasis on Animal Morphology, working mainly in the following subjects: Anatomy, Histology, Cell Biology and developmental biology. Parallel research in the areas of Reproductive Pathology and Biotechnology. He is a collaborative researcher in different reference centers. Some Researches in the areas of placenta and comparative animal placentation, reproduction of wild animals and hepatic segmentation.
