Denise Aparício da Costa

Doutoranda em Linguística (UFPA), Mestra em Linguística (UFPA), Especialista em Libras (FAEL), bacharela em Letras Libras (UFSC), graduanda em Licenciatura em Letras Libras (UFSC). Certificada pelo Prolibras (proficiência em Língua Brasileira de sinais) como intérprete de LIBRAS (2007) e Prolibras no ensino e instrução da Língua Brasileira de Sinais (2015). Tradutora e Intérprete de Libras-LP desde 2008, atua principalmente no contexto educacional, conferência e saúde. Professora da disciplina de Libras e Professora formadora na área da tradução e interpretação de Libras e Língua Portuguesa. É servidora pública na Universidade Federal do Pará exercendo o cargo de tradutora intérprete de Libras por meio da portaria nº 29/2018. Realiza pesquisas e tem interesse nas áreas da Linguística aplicada, Lexicologia e Terminologia, Sociolinguística, Tradução e Interpretação, Formação de tradutores e intérpretes de Língua de sinais, Educação de surdos, Análise do discurso e Fonética e Fonologia das línguas de sinais. Vice líder do grupo de pesquisa GRUPO DE ESTUDOS E PESQUISAS EM TRADUÇÃO E INTERPRETAÇÃO EM LÍNGUA DE SINAIS (GEPTILS/UFPA - http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/198057); integrante do grupo de pesquisa GEOSSOCIOLINGUÍSTICA E SOCIOLINGUISTICA DO NORTE BRASILEIRO (GEOLINTERM/UFPA - http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/1752796546680686); participante do grupo de pesquisa Geograficidades Amazônicas (IFPA). Presidente da Associação de Tradutores/Intérpretes de Língua de Sinais do Pará - Astilp (2019-2023).

Master in Linguistics 2018 - 2020 (UFPA), Bachelor in Letras Libras 2008 - 2012 (UFSC). Specialist in Libras by FAEL. Certified by Prolibras (proficiency in Brazilian Sign Language) as a LIBRAS interpreter. Prolibras teaching and instruction of the Brazilian Sign Language. She works as a professional translator and interpreter of Libras since 2008, in lectures, congresses, seminars, public and private schools and universities. She worked as a researcher in the Libras discipline at UAB 2012. She worked as a teacher in the Libras free course and in the specialization in Libras and Libras Translation and Interpretation at the IEPA 2014-2018 Institution. He also worked as a Libras interpreter at the IEPA institute in Specialization courses. At UEPA, she worked as a translator interpreting Libras in the undergraduate pedagogy course (2010) and in the Master's course in education (2016). And, at UFPA in the courses of Letras Libras and Portuguese Language as L2 for the deaf and in the Music, Visual Arts, Theater and Dance course since 2014. Teacher for Parfor UFPA and UFRA in the area of ​​Linguistic and Brazilian Sign Language in the period of 2015 to 2019. She acted as an instructor in the PRONATEC - ETDUFPA program in the Libras intermediate module course in 2016. Taught classes in the specific disciplines in the complementary course of Letras Libras by the Paulo Neto College, Tucuruí-Pa and Castanhal-Pa - 2017. Currently she is public servant at the Federal University of Pará with the position of translator interpreting Libras through ordinance No. 29/2018.
