Alber Hamersson Sánchez Ipia

I'm an Engineer on Cadastre and Geodesy (2001) and a master on Information and Communication Science (2007) form Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas. I also hold a masters degree on Geoinformatics from Institute for Geoinformatics at the University of Münster (2013) and a doctorate on Earth System Science from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (2020). On my work, I combine the knowledge areas of GIScience, Computer Science, and Project Management to act on the following subjects: carbon budget, geospatial data science, exploratory data analysis, amazon forest and rainforest.

Possui graduação em Ingeniería Catastral y Geodesia - Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas (2001), mestrado em Master of Science Geoinformatics - Institute for Geoinformatics at the University of Münster (2013) e mestrado em Maestría en Ciencias de la Información y las Comun - Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas (2007). Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Geoinformatics, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: deforestation, brazilian amazon, linked open data e spatio-temporal datasets.
