Doutor em Oceanografia pela UERJ - Rio de Janeiro (2020). Mestre em Biologia Marinha pela UFF - Niterói (2013). Especialista em Biologia Molecular (Bioinformática) pela UTFPR - Dois Vizinhos (2022), Especialista em Ciências Náuticas pelo CIAGA-RJ Marinha do Brasil (2013) obtendo o título de Comandante de embarcações nacionais de até 500 AB (2019) e Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO - Unlimited) pelo The Nautical Institute em Londres/UK (2017). Graduado em Oceanografia pela UNIMONTE - Santos (2010). Cursou Ciências Biológicas (Biologia Marinha) na UNESP CLP - São Vicente (2008-2012). Técnico em Química pela FASPEC (2021). Trabalhou como Oficial de Náutica em navios Shuttle tanker, PSV, Oil Recovery, Mergulho, AHTS (TS e TO), e manobras com Remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) para inspeções submarinas no ramo offshore, com amplo conhecimento em navegação, monitoramento ambiental e sobrevivência no mar. Pesquisador convidado pelo Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology para participar da expedição oceanográfica MIREA, em busca de fontes hidrotermais na cordilheira mesoceânica do Oceano Índico. Participou de expedições científicas pela ONG Global Garbage e ABLM. Realizou o programa de treinamento da International Seabed Authority (ISA) através da L'Institut Français de Recherche pour l'Exploitation de la Mer (IFREMER), Brest France (2021). indicado ao prêmio CAPES de melhores Teses de 2020 (UERJ). Pós-Doutorado em Ecotoxicologia pela UNESP - CLP e Hydrobiology (2021-2022). Pesquisador colaborador do Núcleo de Estudos sobre Poluição e Ecotoxicologia Aquática. Atuou como professor das diciplinas: Biofísica, Bioestatística, Ecologia de Comunidades e Ecossistemas dos cursos de Ciências Biológicas (Bacharelado e Licenciatura) da UNESP CLP (2022). Atualmente orienta/coorienta 13 alunos de graduação (iniciação científica e TCC), 1 mestranda e 1 doutoranda. Suas linhas de pesquisa envolvem: Oceanografia Biológica, Química Analítica, Ecotoxicologia, Poluição Marinha, Biogeoquímica, Biomarcadores, Microplástico, Nanopartículas, Ecologia do Plâncton e Bioinformática. Tem experiência em Citometria de fluxo, FAAS, FTIR, Espectrofotometria UV-Vis.

He worked as a Nautical Officer on a Shuttle tanker, PSV, Oil Recovery, Diving, AHTS (TS and TO), and maneuvers with Remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) for underwater inspections in the offshore branch, with extensive knowledge in navigation, environmental monitoring and survival at sea. Researcher invited by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology to participate in the MIREA oceanographic expedition, in search of hydrothermal vents in the mid-oceanic ridge of the Indian Ocean. He participated in scientific expeditions by the NGO Global Garbage and ABLM. Completed the International Seabed Authority (ISA) training program through L'Institut Français de Recherche pour l'Exploitation de la Mer (IFREMER), Brest, France (2021). Nominated for the CAPES award for the best thesis of 2020 (UERJ). Postdoctoral in Ecotoxicology at UNESP - CLP and Hydrobiology (2021-2022). Collaborating researcher at the Center for Studies on Aquatic Pollution and Ecotoxicology (NEPEA). He served as a professor of the disciplines: Biophysics, Biostatistics, Ecology of Communities, and Ecosystems of the Biological Sciences courses (Bachelor and Degree) at UNESP CLP (2022). Currently, he advises/co-advises 23 undergraduate students (scientific initiation and TCC), one master's student, and one doctoral student. His lines of research involve Biological Oceanography, Analytical Chemistry, Ecotoxicology, Marine Pollution, Biogeochemistry, Biomarkers, Microplastics, Nanoparticles, Plankton Ecology, and Bioinformatics. He has experience in Flow Cytometry, FAAS, FTIR, UV-Vis Spectrophotometry.
