França, Doutorado em ?Ergonomia da Engenharia?; pelo Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers (1985) ? França e Pós-doutorado em ?Engenharia Cognitiva? pela École Polytechnique de Montréal ? Canadá. Ex-Presidente da ABEPRO ? Gestão 92/93 e 94/95. Ex-Decano da Escola Politécnica da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUCPR 2015/2018. Atualmente é CEO do Instituto STELA e professor Sênior do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia e Gestão do Conhecimento da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (EGC/UFSC). Faz parte do Conselho Editorial das seguintes revistas: American Journal of Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Management, Ação Ergonômica, Gestão Industrial, INGEPRO ? Inovação, Gestão e Produção e Revista de Ciência & Tecnologia. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia & Gestão do Conhecimento, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Cognição, Gestão do Conhecimento e Inovação.
