Madson Cortes de Almeida

Graduated in Electrical Engineering from UFMG, PhD in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP and Post-doctorate from the University of Manchester-UK. He has experience in the field of Electrical Energy, working mainly on issues related to energy distribution, state estimation, distributed generation, renewable energy sources, fault location and electrical mobility. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems and Energy (DSE) of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNICAMP (FEEC / UNICAMP). He is the coordinator of the Living Lab on Electrical Mobility for Public Transportation at UNICAMP.

Possui Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela UFMG, Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela UNICAMP e Pós-doutorado pela Universidade de Manchester-UK. Tem experiência na área de Energia Elétrica, atuando principalmente em temas ligados à distribuição de energia, estimação de estado, geração distribuída, fontes renováveis de energia, localização de faltas e mobilidade elétrica. Atualmente é Professor Associado do Departamento de Sistemas e Energia (DSE) da Faculdade de Engenharia Elétrica e Computação da UNICAMP (FEEC/UNICAMP). É coordenador do Laboratório Vivo de Mobilidade Elétrica para Transporte Coletivo na UNICAMP.
