Damião Miranda Ngonga Alfredo

Graduated in Physiotherapy from the Methodist University of Angola (2015), Master of the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation and Functional Performance by the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto-FMRP / USP-Brazil. He is a trainee assistant Teacher / Researcher at the Methodist University of Angola. He was a student of the Scientific Initiation Program (PIC) of the Methodist University of Angola and was IIIº Classified in the III Scientific Conference of the PIC. Has experience in the area of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. He is a member of the Metabolism research group and is currently Researcher at the Laboratory of Physiotherapeutic Resources-LARF-FMRP / USP-Brazil. He has experience in Physiotherapy and Physiology, working mainly with the following subjects: Electro-photo-thermal resources, cardiorespiratory conditioning, game therapy, virtual reality, neuromuscular rehabilitation, Phototherapy and Athletic performance.

Possui graduação em Fisioterapia pela Universidade Metodista de Angola (2015), Pós-graduação em Fisioterapia Ortopédico-traumatológica com ênfase em terapias manuais e posturais pela Universidade Anhanguera, e Doutorado em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade de São Paulo-FMRP/USP (2020). É Director do Curso de Fisioterapia e Pesquisador da Universidade Metodista de Angola. Tem experiência na área de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional. Atualmente é Pesquisador associado do Laboratório de Recursos Fisioterapêuticos/LARF-FMRP/USP-Brasil, coordenador do grupo de pesquisa Reabilitação e desempenho Funcional da Universidade Metodista de Angola, atuando principalmente com os seguintes temas: recursos Eletro-foto-térmicos, dosimetria do ultrassom terapêutico, reabilitação neuromuscular e Desempenho atlético, Fisioterapia Desportiva, Adaptação transcultural de instrumentos clinimétricos e psicométricos em Fisioterapia.
