Letícia Fracaro
Letícia Fracaro is a Bachelor Science in Biology from the Catholic University of Paraná. During her graduation she obtained a scholarship of scientific iniciation and at this time she worked with isolation, cultivation and the fluorescent labeling of mesenchymal stem cells derived from human adipose tissue. At the end of graduation she received the Marcelino Champagnat Award for the best academic performance in the Biology Course. She was a Masters student of the Core for Cell Technology at the Catholic University of Parana. Her project is titled: Human adipose -derived stem cell transplantation in Wistar rats subjected to spinal cord injury: monitoring, immunomodulation assessment and neuronal marker expression. In this study she did the isolation, culture and transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells derived from human adipose tissue in animals with spinal cord injuries. Now she is a PhD Student and She works with dental pulp stem cells, adipose-derived stem cells and neuronal differentiation. Her project is title: Comparative analysis of the phenotypic and proteomic profile of mesenchymal stem cells derived from adipose tissue and dental pulp, undifferentiated and differentiated in lineages of the nervous system
