Adriana Santiago Araujo Schrader

Adriana holds a degree in Social Communication with a focus on journalism from the Federal University of Ceará (1994), a master's degree in Communication and Contemporary Culture from the Federal University of Bahia (2010) and a PhD in Communication and Contemporary Culture from the Federal University of Bahia (2018). She has experience in the field of Communication, with an emphasis on Theory and Ethics of Journalism, working mainly on the following topics: theories of communication and journalism, scientific research in newsmaking, investigative journalism, new technologies and production in digital journalism.

Possui graduação em Comunicação Social com habilitação em jornalismo pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1994), mestrado em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporânea pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2010) e doutorado em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporânea pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2018). Tem experiência na área de Comunicação, com ênfase em Teoria e Ética do Jornalismo, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: teorias das comunicação e do jornalismo, pesquisa científica em newsmaking, jornalismo investigativo, novas tecnologias e produção em jornalismo digital.
