Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho Dantas

B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (UEMG - 2005), specialized in Java Development (UNITRI - 2007) and M.Sc in Computer Science (UFU - 2017). Currently PhD candidate on UFU (2017-prevision to 2022). Also is certified in SCJP (Sun Certified Java Programmer). Currently is efective Professor on IFTM (Federal Institute of Triangulo Mineiro). Lessons in Internet Systems Technology degree course and Analysis and Development Systems applied to business management specialization.

I am a Software Engineering Professor at Federal Institute of Science and Technology at Triângulo Mineiro, in Uberlândia/MG (IFTM, 2014-current) and Ph.D. candidate at the Computing Faculty (FACOM) at Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU, 2017-current), under the supervision of Professor Marcelo de Almeida Maia at Intelligent Software Engineering Lab. I got my Masters degree in Computer Science in UFU (2017), and my bachelors degree in Computer Engineering at the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG - 2005). I also have a specialization in Java Development at UNITRI (2007) and Sun Certified Java Programmer certification (SCJP 2007) with 8 years experience as a professional software developer in the industry (2006-2014). My main research interests include software repository mining for program comprehension and recommendation systems for software development.
