Carlos Eduardo Aguiar de Souza Costa

Graduated in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Pará - UFPA (2013), specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from the Single Faculty of Ipatinga - FUNIP/MG (2020), master's (2016) and doctorate (2021) in Civil Engineering (Area: Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation) by UFPA. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at UFPA, at the University Campus of Tucuruí (CAMTUC), working at the Faculty of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (FAESA) and as a permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Dam Engineering and Environmental Management (PEBGA). In the scientific area, he works with an emphasis on the impacts of climate change, with productions and projects focused on climate risk management, renewable energy and the green economy. He also has professional experience in the area of sanitation and the environment, having worked in companies responsible for preparing and supervising important sanitation projects and environmental licensing throughout the State of Pará.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental pela Universidade Federal do Pará - UFPA (2013), especialização em Engenharia Geotécnica pela Faculdade Única de Ipatinga - FUNIP/MG (2020), mestrado (2016) e doutorado (2021) em Engenharia Civil (Área: Recursos Hídricos e Saneamento Ambiental) pela UFPA. Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da UFPA, no Campus Universitário de Tucuruí (CAMTUC), atuando na Faculdade de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (FAESA) e como docente permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Barragem e Gestão Ambiental (PEBGA). Na área científica, trabalha com ênfase nos impactos das mudanças climáticas, com produções e projetos voltados para o gerenciamento de riscos climáticos, energias renováveis e economia verde. Possui também experiência profissional na área de saneamento e meio ambiente, tendo atuado em empresas responsáveis por elaborar e fiscalizar importantes projetos de saneamento e licenciamento ambiental por todo o Estado do Pará.
