D. in Physics from Universidade de São Paulo (1999). Postdoctorate at Liquid Crystal Institute, Kent State University -Kent, Ohio - USA (2003). Has experience in Physics, focusing on Physical Statistics and Thermodynamics, acting on the following subjects: anomalous diffusion, field theory, Tsallis statistics, liquid crystal elastormers and photothermal phenomena.
