Francisco Dutenhefner

Bacharel em matemática formado pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1993), mestrado em matemática pela Universidade de São Paulo (1996) e doutorado em matemática pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2002). É professor titular da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) e Diretor do Instituto de Ciências Exatas (ICEx). Desenvolve atividades de ensino, pesquisa, administração e extensão. Em particular, destaca-se o seu envolvimento com as várias ações da OBMEP, Olimpíada Brasileira de Matemática das Escolas Públicas.

Bachelor in Mathematics from the Federal University of São Carlos (1993), Master in Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (1996) and PhD in Mathematics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2002). He is a full professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and Director of the Institute of Exact Sciences (ICEx). Develops teaching, research, administration and extension activities. In particular, its involvement with the various actions of OBMEP, the Brazilian Public Schools Mathematics Olympiad, stands out.
