Sílvio Gomes de Sá

PhD in Animal Bioscience (UFRPE-2014) with ENTITLED research project: Epidemiological study of toxoplasmosis and avian mycoplasmosis in galliforms (Gallus gallus domesticus and Meleagridis gallopavo) of family poultry in the state of Pernambuco, with a focus on the natural occurrence of avian mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum) and toxoplasmosis (Toxoplasma gondii), identifying the risk factors associated with infection. Master in Veterinary Science (UFRPE-2011) in Epidemiology area, Diagnosis and Control of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and their importance in public health, experimentally investigating the venereal transmission of toxoplasmosis in mice, evaluating the clinical and anatopatológicos findings. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine (UFRPE-2004) with monograph on the subject equine Ptiose. Graduate Degree in Agricultural Sciences (UFRPE -2007).

Possui graduação em Medicina Veterinária (2004) e em Licenciatura em Ciências Agrícolas (2007) pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. Mestre em Medicina Veterinária (2011) e doutor em Biociência Animal (2014) pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco . Atualmente é professor adjunto DE da área de Medicina Veterinária Preventiva no curso de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal de Alagoas - UFAL, Campus de Engenharias e Ciências Agrárias - CECA - Rio Largo -Alagoas.
