Artista Plástica. Possui Bacharelado em Artes Plásticas pela Escola Guignard - Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais(1988); Licenciatura em Artes Plásticas pela Escola Guignard - Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (1993); Pós-Graduação Latu-Sensu em Pesquisa e Ensino no Campo das Artes Plásticas e Contemporaneidade pela Escola Guignard - Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (2002); Mestrado em Artes Visuais pela Escola de Comunicação e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (2011); Doutorado em Artes pelo Instituto de Artes da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho (2018), Membro pesquisador do Grupo de Pesquisa: Panorama da Cerâmica Latino Americana, certificado pelo CNPQ/UNESP. É professora efetiva do Departamento de Disciplinas Tridimensionais e Artes Visuais da Escola Guignard - UEMG. Em 2019, recebeu Prêmio APPA, 2010 Prêmio 2nd Shanghai International Modern Pot Art Biennial Exhibition, Shanghai, China. Menção Honrosa em 2008 no 2º Salão Nacional de Cerâmica em Curitiba, PR. Em 2016, foi jurada e curadora do 5º Salão Nacional de Cerâmica em Curitiba, Pr. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em cerâmica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: linguagens tridimensionais, cerâmica escultórica, funcional, produção cerâmica contemporânea, materialidade, temporalidade, linguagem popular na produção artística, tradição, memória, impressão serigráfica no suporte cerâmico, fotografia, arte contemporânea.
