Myrian Batista de Carvalho

Graduada em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (2017) com período sanduíche no Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), da Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, realizando o curso Urban Management and Development: Sustainable Urbanism (2015). Possui mestrado em Desenvolvimento Urbano pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2020). Possui experiência com ferramentas CAD, Sistemas de Informação Geográfica e Sensoriamento Remoto. Atualmente, é pesquisadora da rede INCT Observatório da Metrópoles e realiza pesquisas na área de planejamento urbano, infraestrutura urbana, saneamento ambiental, assentamentos precários, meio ambiente e sustentabilidade.

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2017), graduated in Urban Management and Development: Sustainable Urbanism from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) (2015). She holds a Masters in Urban Development from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2020). She has experience in working with CAD tools, Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing. She is currently a researcher at the INCT Observatório da Metrópoles network and acts on the following subjects: urban planning, urban infrastructure, environmental sanitation, precarious settlements and sustainable development.
