Raquel Marta da Silva

Raquel Marta da Silva holds a degree in History from the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (1992). She completed a Masters in History from the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2002) and PhD in History from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2008). Developed during the master's and doctoral studies on Religiosity, with emphasis on the issue of spiritualism. She worked as a Professor and makers of educational content in the Course "Relations for Ethnic and Racial Education", of the NEAB / UFU. Currently she has been dedicated to the study of the African-Brazilian religions and their dialogue with spiritualism. She is the author of three complete articles published in periodicals and two chapters of books ("Chico Xavier: A National Symbolic Good? An Analysis on the Construct of the Imaginary Spiritist Uberaba" and "Representations of Mineirity in the Life and Work of Francisco Cândido Xavier"). She has 14 completed guidances (monograph of completion of course of improvement / specialization).

Raquel Marta da Silva possui graduação em História pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (1992). Concluiu o mestrado em História pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2002) e o doutorado em História pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2008). Desenvolveu durante o mestrado e o doutorado estudos sobre a Religiosidade, com ênfase na questão do espiritismo. Atualmente tem se dedicado ao estudo das religiões afro-brasileiras e seu diálogo com espiritismo.
