Sandra Aparecida Coelho de Mello

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1992). Between 1992 and 1995 he worked in CTMSP (Navy Technological Center in São Paulo), where he worked on the development of ultra gas centrifuges. Masters degree at the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research (municipality the University of São Paulo) in 2000 in Science: Applications. He has a PhD in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, Area Materials and Manufacturing Processes, ITA (2012), where he studied the development of ablative thermal protection used in the aerospace industry. It is currently Technologist Full of Aeronautics and Space Institute. Currently works with elastomers used in various development areas in the aerospace industry; development of thermal shields used in rocket engine.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Escola Politécnica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1992). Entre 1992 e 1995 trabalhou no CTMSP (Centro Tecnológico da Marinha em São Paulo), onde atuou no Desenvolvimento de ultra centrífugas a gás. Concluiu mestrado pelo Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (autarquia Da Universidade de São Paulo) em 2000 em Ciências: Aplicações. Possui Doutorado em Engenharia Aeronáutica e Mecânica, Área Materiais e Processos de Fabricação, pelo ITA (2012), onde estudou o desenvolvimento de proteções térmicas ablativas utilizadas no setor aeroespacial. Atualmente é Tecnologista Sênior do Instituto de Aeronáutica e Espaço e trabalha com desenvolvimento de elastômeros utilizados em áreas diversas no setor aeroespacial; desenvolvimento de proteções térmicas utilizados em motor-foguete.
