Possui graduação em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1998) e mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2000) e certificação em Gerência de Projetos(PMP-PMI). Atuou como professor no Instituto Infnet e na Universidade Candido mendes por 9 anos. Atualmente atua como Gerente de TI na B3. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação em empresas do mercado financeiro(B3, Bradesco Seguros, Cetip, Webmind Incorporation), transporte(Concessionária Ponte SA, Concessionária CCR), energia (Synapsis), governo(UFRJ, IBGE, Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) e de telecomunicações(Embratel).
