Diego Prado Barroso

Doutorando em Geofísica Espacial pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). Pesquisador visitante em Rosseland Centre for Solar Physics, da Universidade de Oslo (RoCS-UiO) e membro da equipe internacional de cientistas Waves in the Lower Solar Atmosphere (WaLSA Team). Mestre em Geofísica pelo Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas da Universidade de São Paulo (2018); Graduado no curso de Bacharelado em Geofísica do Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas da Universidade de São Paulo (2014). Foi membro da Diretoria da Associação de Bolsistas, Pós-Graduandos e Pós-Graduandos do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (ABPG-INPE), exercendo os cargos de Diretor de Políticas Externas (2019-2020) e Diretor Geral (2021-2022). Tem formação em Geofísica e Geofísica Espacial, com ênfase em métodos potenciais, manchas solares e movimentos oscilatórios na baixa atmosfera solar.

PhD student in Space Geophysics at the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Master's in Geophysics from the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2018) and Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of São Paulo (2014). He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Fellows and Post-Graduates of the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (ABPG-INPE), holding the positions of Director of External Policies (2019-2020) and General Director (2021-2022) . He has a background in Geophysics and Space Geophysics, with an emphasis on potential methods, sunspots and oscillatory phenomena in the lower solar atmosphere.
