Luciane Pimenta Cruz Romão

He holds a postdoctoral degree from the University of Birmingham, England (2004), a doctorate in chemistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003), a master's degree in chemistry from the Federal University of Bahia (1996) and a degree in industrial chemistry and a degree in chemistry from the Federal University of Sergipe (1986 and 1991). She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Sergipe, reviewer of the journals Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Environmental Management and Desalination. She is a master's and doctoral advisor in the Graduate Program in Chemistry (PPGQ/UFS). He works in the area of #8203;#8203;Environmental Analytical Chemistry, mainly in the following subjects: Development of functional materials using biomass, biochar and magnetic materials, within the principles of green chemistry, applied to different areas of environmental technologies for the mitigation/degradation of emerging contaminants and for the production of smart fertilizers.
