Letícia Bojikian Calixtre

Leticia Calixtre got her PhD degree in Physiotherapy in 2018, from the post-graduation program in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar. For one year, she did an internship in the Netherlands at the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) with financial support of São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She was a postdoctorate fellow at the Faculty of Dentistry of Araraquara (UNESP) and at UFSCar with CAPES-Print funding. Her main topic of research is the regional interdependency between neck and jaw and how this how it influences temporomandibular disorders, neck pain and headache. She has academic and clinical experience in physical therapy with emphasis on orofacial pain and manual therapy. Currently she has a post-doctoral fellowship on the Research Laboratory in Health and Functional Performance, at the University of Pernambuco, Petrolina.

Letícia Calixtre obteve seu título de doutorado em Fisioterapia no ano de 2018, pelo programa de pós graduação em Fisioterapia da Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar (nota 7 da CAPES). Com apoio financeiro da Fundação de Apoio à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), realizou doutorado-sanduíche na Holanda por um ano através do Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). Fez pós-doutorado pela Faculdade de Odontologia de Ararquara (UNESP) e pela UFSCar com financiamento CAPES-Print. Seu principal tópico de pesquisa é a interdependência regional entre a coluna cervical e a mandíbula, e como essa relação pode influenciar as disfunções temporomandibulares, cervicalgias e cefaléias. Tem experiência acadêmica e clínica na área de Fisioterapia, com ênfase em dor orofacial e terapia manual. Atualmente, faz estágio pós-doutoral no Laboratório de Pesquisa em Saúde e Desempenho Funcional, na Universidade de Pernambuco, campus Petrolina.
