Paula Braga Adler Pereira

Geologist graduated in 2013 at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Master?s degree in 2016 on sedimentary petrology. Work experience at Equinor and Petrobras within Exploration, Reservoir Development, Well Planning and Execution and Research departments. Internship at Petrobras, with geochemical and geochronological data acquisition, processing and organization. Trained on systematic quantitative sedimentary petrography at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Worked at Petrobras Research Center on the petrographic characterization of Pre-Salt reservoirs for 9 months. Joined the Graduate Programme at Equinor in March 2018. Worked with data integration for reservoir prediction and characterization, from micro scale (thin section to petrophysics) to macro scale (seismic data analysis and reservoir models), within Exploration and Reservoir Development departments in Brazil. Moved to Norway in February 2020 to work for Exploration Excellence as Operations/Wellsite Geologist. Acquired a good experience on planning and executing wells, and knowledge on the geology of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Currently, moving to Geoscience Excellence department to do seismic interpretation and integrated data analysis, from seismic to thin section, for enhanced reservoir prediction and understanding, both in NCS and other areas where Equinor operates.
