Post Doctorate by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto / Portugal, Doctorate in Engineering by the State University of Campinas / Unicamp (2008), Master in Engineering by the State University of Campinas / Unicamp (2002), and Graduation in Agricultural Engineering by the Federal University of Lavras / UFLA (1999). He is currently a professor at Universidade Nove de Julho, teaching disciplines in Geotechnics and being a research professor in the Master's Program in Smart and Sustainable Cities, working on projects related to the following research lines: Sustainable Buildings and Technologies for the built environment. He is also the owner and founder of GEOCONCEITO Engineering and Consulting. Member of the Research Group on Smart and Sustainable Cities. He has research projects with international universities such as the University of Medellín (Colombia), the University of Porto (Portugal), and the University of Haifa (Israel). Deputy Editor of the Journal of Environmental Management and Sustainability (Qualis A3). He is a Scientific reviewer of significant international scientific journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Soil and Rocks, Waste Management, Building Environment and Tunneling, and Underground Space Technology. Member of the RIMAS International Environment and Sustainability Network and ABRAPS Brazilian Association of Sustainability Professionals.

Editor Adjunto da Revista de Gestão Ambiental e Sustentabilidade (Qualis A3). Ele é um revisor científico de importantes revistas científicas internacionais, como o Journal of Cleaner Production, Soil and Rocks, Waste Management, Building Environment and Tunneling e Underground Space Technology. Membro da Rede Internacional de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade RIMAS e da Associação Brasileira dos Profissionais de Sustentabilidade da ABRAPS.
