Johannes Doll

Full Professor at the School of Education of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, he works in the Undergraduate and Graduate Program in Education, advising masters and doctoral degrees. A member of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Aging at UFRGS, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal "Interdisciplinary Studies on Aging". Founding Member of the Center for European and German Studies. Vice-President of the Brazilian Society of Gerontechnology. He holds a degree in Catholic Theology - Universitat Tuebingen (Eberhard-Karls) (1988), a degree in Education - Erziehungswissenschaftliche Hochschule Landau (1989), a Master's in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1994) and a PhD in Education - Universitat Koblenz Landau (2001). He is a specialist in Gerontology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He works and researches in the field of Education and Aging with a focus on the following topics: Gerontology, Gerontechnology, aging and education, indebtedness and financial education of the elderly, Digital inclusion.

Professor Titular da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul atua na Graduação e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação orientando mestrado e doutorado. Membro do Núcleo de Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre o Envelhecimento da UFRGS, é Editor Chefe da Revista "Estudos interdisciplinares sobre o Envelhecimento". Membro Fundador do Centro de Estudos Europeus e Alemães. Vice-presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Gerontecnologia. Possui graduação em Teologia Católica - Universitat Tuebingen (Eberhard-Karls) (1988), graduação em Educação - Erziehungswissenschaftliche Hochschule Landau (1989), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1994) e doutorado em Educação - Universitat Koblenz Landau (2001). É especialista em Gerontologia pela Universidade de Heidelberg, Alemanha. Atua e pesquisa no campo da Educação e Envelhecimento com foco nos seguintes temas: Gerontologia, Gerontecnologia, envelhecimento e educação, endividamento e educação financeira de pessoas idosas, Inclusão digital.
