Ivan Farias Barreto

Doutor em Psicologia (UFRN/2022), mestre em antropologia (UFBA/2015), especialista na área de álcool e outras drogas (UFBA/2013) e psicólogo (UFAL/2011). Atualmente é professor da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (Campus Divinópolis) e membro do Grupo Interdisciplinar de Estudos sobre Substâncias Psicoativas. Possui experiência em atenção psicossocial e pesquisa qualitativa, tendo trabalhado mais intensamente com temas envolvendo o uso de drogas e a saúde de povos indígenas. PhD in Psychology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, MSc in Anthropology at the Federal University of Bahia, Specialist in The Consumption and Consumers of Alcohol and other Drugs at UFBA and B. S. in Psychology at the Federal University of Alagoas. I am currently a lecturer assigned to a temporary public role at the University of the State of Minas Gerais (UEMG - Divinópolis Campus). I also work as ad hoc reviewer of scientific journals and I am member of research groups. I have experience in the fields of mental health, social psychology, anthropology and qualitative research, with special interest in issues involving the use of psychoactive substances, the health of indigenous peoples and groups in situations of social vulnerability.
