GIZELE FRANCISCO FERREIRA DO NASCIMENTO

Bacharel em Fonoaudiologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Pós-graduada em Audiologia pela Universidade Potiguar (rede Laureate de ensino - UNP). Mestre em Fonoaudiologia pelo Programa Associado de Pós-Graduação em Fonoaudiologia das Universidades da Paraíba (UFPB) e Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Atualmente pesquisadora bolsista na modalidade especialista em audiologia na Base de Audição e Linguagem vinculada ao Laboratório de Inovação Tecnológica em Saúde - LAIS/UFRN/HUOL e pesquisadora colaboradora do Laboratório de Audição e Equilíbrio da UFRN (Laeq-UFRN). Tem experiência e interesse na área de audiologia, principalmente nos segmentos da audiologia pediátrica, potenciais evocados auditivos e vestibulares, otoneurologia e reabilitação vestibular. Atualmente desenvolvendo pesquisas relacionadas ao diagnóstico e monitoramento audiológico de bebês expostos à infecções congênitas, bem como no diagnóstico e manejo do paciente com vestibulopatias, associado ao uso de novas tecnologias na reabilitação do equilíbrio corporal.

Bachelor in Speech-Language-HearingTherapy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Post-graduated in Audiology by Potiguar University (Laureate Education Network - UNP). Master in Speech Therapy by the Associated Program of Graduate Studies in Speech Therapy of the Universities of Paraiba (UFPB) and Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Currently she is a researcher scholarship holder in audiology at the Hearing and Language Base linked to the Technological Innovation in Health Laboratory - LAIS/UFRN/HUOL and collaborating researcher at the Laboratory of Hearing and Equilibrium of UFRN (Laeq-UFRN). Experience and interest in the areas of audiology and vestibular medicine, mainly in the segments of pediatric audiology, auditory and vestibular evoked potentials, otoneurology and vestibular rehabilitation. Currently developing research related to the diagnosis and audiological and language monitoring of infants exposed to congenital infections, as well as the diagnosis and management of patients with vestibulopathies, associated with the use of new technologies in the rehabilitation of body balance.
