José Manuel Molina López

José Manuel Molina López is Dr. Telecommunications Engineer from the Universidad Politecnica of Madrid.He currently is Full Professor in the area of ​​Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University Carlos III of Madrid.Holds the position of Computing Department Director of the University Carlos III of Madrid, where he previously held the positions of Director of the PhD program in Computer Science and Technology, Vice Chancellor of Students, Residence and Cultural Activities, attached to the campus Vicerector of Colmenarejo and deputy Director of Computer Engineering degree.In connection with the investigation, is the Director of the research group Applied Artificial Intelligence (www.giaa.inf.uc3m.es) where he developed several research projects both public and private, focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques to various problems engineering. He has authored more than 60 articles in international journals listed in the JCR, 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, over 250 international conference papers, 15 books and over 15 chapters in collective works.His research interests focus on artificial intelligence topics as agents, fuzzy logic, evolutionary computation and neural networks, and their application to engineering topics such as machine vision, multi-sensor systems and signal processing.
