Eliaber Barros Santos

Doutor em Produção vegetal pela Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC) atuando na linha de Controle Biológico de pragas de importância agrícola, com foco em Ecologia Química aplicada ao uso de feromônios. Mestre em Ciências Agrárias pela Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) (2017). Engenheiro Agrônomo formado pela Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) (2015). Técnico em Agropecuária pela Escola Agrotécnica Federal de Santa Inês (2008). Fui bolsista (2012-2015) no programa de Iniciação Científica/Tecnológica (PIBIC/PIBIT) pelo CNPq e Bolsista Apoio Técnico Nível 1 (AT) (2017-2018). Fui membro do grupo de pesquisa INSECTA (UFRB), atuando nos seguintes temas: Manejo e conservação de abelhas sociais; Estudos Morfométricos voltados a insetos sociais e Ecologia química.

I am currently a PhD student in the Plant Science Post-Graduation Program at the State University of Santa Cruz (ESSC) acting in the line of Biological Control of pests of agricultural importance, focusing on Chemical Ecology applied to the use of pheromones. Master's Degree in Agrarian Sciences, Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) (2017). Agronomist graduated from the Federal University of the Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) (2015). Technician in Agropecuária by the Federal Agrotécnica School of Santa Inês (2008). I was a Fellow (2012-2015) in the Program of Scientific and Technological Initiation (PIBIC / PIBIT) by CNPq and Technical Support Grantor Level 1 (AT) (2017-2018). I was a member of the research group INSECTA (UFRB), working on the following topics: Management and conservation of social bees; Morphometric studies on social insects and chemical ecology.
