Fernando da Silva Alves

He has experience in Physics with an emphasis in Complex Fluids, acting on the following topics: viscosity of nematic liquid crystals and viscosity of materials used in the development of innovations in food. Has Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of Londrina (2008), Degree in Physics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (2008) Masters in Physics from the State University of Londrina (2004), Degree in Mathematics from the State School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters Cornelius (2004) and BS in Physics from the State University of Londrina (2002). I work in the teaching since 2004, teaching the disciplines of physics and applied physics. Starting in 2008 I joined the Campus UTFPR Apucarana where I held the role of director of research and graduate and member of the board of education research and extension. From 2010 got removal for Londrina Campus where I work at the head of the Academic Department of Physics and the research and extension activities.

Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (2002), Licenciatura em Matemática pela Faculdade Estadual de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Cornélio Procópio (2004), mestrado em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (2004), Licenciatura em Física pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do paraná (2008), Doutorado em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (2008) . Atua na docência desde 2004, ministrando as disciplinas de Física e Física aplicada. Na UTFPR exerceu a função de diretor de pesquisa e pós-graduação, membro do conselho de ensino pesquisa e extensão e chefe do Departamento Acadêmico de Física da UTFPR. Professor do Programa de Pós-graduação (PPGCEM) da UTFPR - LD. Desenvolve pesquisa em Física na área de Fluidos Complexos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: viscosidade, fenômenos críticos, transição de fase e propriedades optoeletrônicas em cristais líquidos.
