Arnaldo de Queiroz da Silva

Arnaldo de Queiroz da Silva received the degree in Geology (1993) and the M.Sc. degree in geophysics (1996) from the Federal University of Pará) and PhD in Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (2010). He is currently researcher at the Institute of Scientific and Technological Research of the State of Amapá - IEPA. He has experience in Geosciences with an emphasis on environmental geology, geophysics and remote sensing, acting on the following themes: water resources prospecting by geophysical methods, GIS for environmental management, use of remote sensing for geological mapping.

Possui graduação em Geologia pela Universidade Federal do Pará (1993), mestrado em Geofísica pela Universidade Federal do Pará (1996) e doutorado em Sensoriamento Remoto pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (2010). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal do Pará. Tem experiência na área de geociências, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: sensoriamento remoto com ênfase em SAR, mapeamento geológico, geofísica, geologia ambiental, recursos hídricos, impacto ambiental e ecossistemas.
