Gabriel Levi Barbosa Lopes

Graduado no curso de Ciências Biológicas/Licenciatura (2013-2016), pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Durante dois anos da graduação teve experiência na área de biossensores piezoelétricos na identificação de bactérias gram-negativas, no departamento de Bioquímica e Fisiologia (2014-2016). Ainda no ano de 2016 ingressou no Laboratório de Paleontologia da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (PALEOLAB), onde cursou o mestrado (2017-2019) pelo programa de pós-graduação em geociências (PPGEOC), localizado no departamento de Geologia no Centro de Tecnologia e Geociências (CTG). Em seu mestrado realizou analise paleoecológica e biomecânica da paleoictiofauna da Bacia do Araripe. Além disso faz parte do projeto Tesouros do Araripe, com o objetivo de sensibilizar a população de cidades no interior de Pernambuco sobre a importância e valor dos fósseis, não somente a científica mas também o social e cultural. Tem interesse na área de: paleontologia de vertebrados e paleoecologia de vertebrados.

Graduated in Biological Sciences / Licenciatura (2013-2016), from the Federal University of Pernambuco. During two years of graduation, he had an experience in the field of piezoelectric biosensors in the identification of gram-negative bacteria, in the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology (2014-2016). Also in 2016, he joined the Paleontology Laboratory of the Federal University of Pernambuco (PALEOLAB), where he studied or master's (2017-2019) through the post-graduate program in geosciences (PPGEOC), located in the geology department at the Technology and Geosciences (CTG). In his master's degree, he analyzed paleoecology and biomechanics of the paleoofauna of the Araripe Basin. In addition, it is part of the Tesouros do Araripe project, with the objective of sensitizing the populations of cities in the interior of Pernambuco on the importance and value of fossils, without using only science, but also the social and cultural. He is interested in the area of: vertebrate paleontology and vertebrate paleoecology.
