Médico formado pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2004). Estágio em cirurgia geral no hospital São Rafael em 2006 (1 ano). Residências: Cirurgia Geral no Hospital Roberto Santos (HGRS), Salvador- BA (2 anos: 2007 e 2008), Cirurgia do Aparelho Digestivo no Hospital Heliópolis, São Paulo (2 anos: 2009 e 2010). Treinamento em cirurgia do fígado, pâncreas, via biliar e transplante hepático nos Hospitais Dante Pazzanese e Hospital de Transplantes do Estado de São Paulo, E.J.Zerbini (1 ano: 2011). Adquiriu experiência nas áreas de Medicina, com ênfase em Cirurgia Geral, Cirurgia Digestiva, Cirurgia Hepato-bílio-pancreática e transplante hepático. Especialista em Cirurgia Geral pelo Conselho Regional de Medicina do Estado de São Paulo. Atuou como Cirurgião do fígado e transplantador na Equipe Unidade do Fígado, referência no Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz (SP) e Albert Einstein (SP) de 2012 a 2015. Durante as residências médicas e especialização (7 anos) fez treinamentos curriculares e extra-curriculares em cirurgia laparoscópica. Foi professor do Curso Avançado de Cirurgia Vídeolaparoscópica de Goiânia-Go. Doutorado em cirurgia, transplante de fígado intervivos pelo Departamento de Clínica Cirúrgica da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FM-USP) em 2016. Atualmente é Chefe do serviço de Cirurgia e Supervisor dos programas de residência médica em Cirurgia Geral e em Cirurgia do Aparelho Digestivo do HGRS. Coordenador da Comissão de Residência Médica (COREME) desta mesma instituição. Professor adjunto da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (EBMSP) e Professor de Clínica Cirúrgica do Curso de Medicina da Faculdade Salvador (FACS) e Professor do internato de cirurgia da faculdade UNIME. Atua como Cirurgião do Aparelho Digestivo e hepatobiliopancreático de referência dos Hospitais São Rafael - Rede D`Or (SSA-Ba) e Cardio Pulmonar - Rede D`Or (SSA-Ba). Atua como Cirurgião Digestivo e Transplantador de Fígado do Hospital Português (SSA-Ba). É Professor atuante da residência médica de Cirurgia Geral do Hospital Universitário Professor Edgard Santos (Ebserh) além de Cirurgião Captador de Órgãos da Central Estadual de Transplantes da Bahia. .

He works as a Digestive and Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgeon of reference at Hospitals São Rafael - Rede D'Or (SSA-Ba) and Cardio Pulmonar - Rede D'Or (SSA-Ba). He works as Digestive Surgeon and Liver Transplanter at Hospital Português (SSA-Ba). He is an active Professor of the General Surgery Medical Residency at the Professor Edgard Santos University Hospital (Ebserh) as well as an Organ Harvesting Surgeon at the Bahia State Transplant Center.
