Leticia Vargas de Almeida

Doutora em Ciências pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), com experiência internacional pela Universidade Livre de Amsterdam-Holanda. Pesquisa de doutorado com ênfase no desenvolvimento de protocolo de reabilitação e avaliação biomecânica da marcha dos indivíduos com amputação de membro inferior, disfunções do aparelho locomotor e reabilitação. Mestre em Ciências pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), com pesquisa direcionada ao indivíduo com lesão medular, estimulação elétrica neuromuscular (EENM), atividade física e ênfase no funcionamento do sistema nervoso autônomo. Especializada em Ortopedia e Traumatologia pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), com estudo epidemiológico das principais lesões sofridas por atletas do futebol (GUARANI). Graduada em Fisioterapia pela Faculdade de Jaguariúna (FAJ). Atuou como coordenadora nos cursos de pós graduação de Ortopedia e Neurologia pela Faculdade Inspirar Campinas-SP. Atualmente atua na Revitae e na Casa Ampla com avaliações cinético-funcional, biomecânica da marcha e da corrida, prescrição e confecção de palmilhas, órteses e próteses, reabilitação e prevenção das lesões musculoesqueléticas. Docente pela Faculdade Inspirar nas filiais de Campinas-SP, Sorocaba-SP, Goiânia-GO, Porto Alegre-Rs e Campo Grande-MS. Pesquisadora Assistente no Ambulatório da Unicamp.

PhD in Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with international experience from the Free University of Amsterdam-Netherlands. PhD research with emphasis on the development of a rehabilitation protocol and biomechanical assessment of the gait of individuals with lower limb amputation, locomotor system dysfunctions and rehabilitation. Master of Science by the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with research directed to the individual with spinal cord injury, neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), physical activity and emphasis on the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. Specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with an epidemiological study of the main injuries suffered by soccer athletes (GUARANI). Graduated in Physical Therapy at the Centro Universitário de Jaguariúna (UNIFAJ). Acted as a professor at Faculdade Inspirar - Campo Grande/MS and coordinated postgraduate courses in Orthopedics and Neurology at Faculdade Inspirar Campinas-SP. Acting in the area of orthopedics, traumatology and sports, confection of orthopedic and postural insoles, evaluation and confection of custom-made orthoses, orthopedics and the dysfunctions of the locomotor system, advanced rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system, acting in the biomechanical evaluation of gait.
