Mayara Drummond Borges

Mayara holds a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in International Relations (Federal University of Uberlândia), having taken courses in the Master's Degree in International Law and Economics at the Université de Poitiers (France), and in the postgraduate degree in Strategic Management and International Marketing at the University of La Verde (California, USA), and training in Project Design by the International Training Center (ITC) in Turin (Italy) of the International Labour Organization (ILO). She is a professional with local and international experiences in social policies, programs and projects, such as: housing, schools, promotion of fundamental principles and rights at work, and social protection. Mayara has been working at the United Nations since 2013, having participated in the development and implementation of several projects at the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Brazil, the World Food Program (WFP) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), where she has been working since 2018 .

Mayara é mestra e bacharela em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, tendo cursado disciplinas em Mestrado em Direito e Economia Internacionais na Université de Poitiers (França), e pós-graduação em Gestão Estratégica e Marketing Internacional pela Universidade de La Verde (Califórnia, EUA), e formação em Desenho de Projetos pelo International Training Centre (ITC) de Turin (Itália) da Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT). É uma profissional com experiência local e internacional em políticas, programas e projetos sociais, tais como: habitacionais, escolares, promoção dos princípios e direitos fundamentais no trabalho, e proteção social. Mayara trabalha na Organização das Nações Unidas desde 2013, tendo participado do desenvolvimento e implementação de diversos projetos no Escritório de Coordenação da ONU no Brasil, no Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA) e na Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), onde atua desde 2018.
