Alexandre Augusto Moreira Santos

Graduado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG (1977); Especialista em Saneamento pelo DERSA / UFMG (1977); Especialista em Engenharia Sanitária pelo DERSA / UFMG (1978); Especialista em Matemática - UNIR (1983); Aperfeiçoamento em Metodologia do Ensino Superior- UNIR (1984); Mestre em Ecologia pela Universidade de Brasília - UNB (1995) ; Doutor em Tecnologia Ambiental e Recursos Hídricos pela Universidade de Brasília - UNB (2010) , com ênfase nos temas: recursos hídricos, meio ambiente e energia.
Atuou nos seguintes órgãos públicos e estatais: Fundação Universidade Federal de Rondônia - UNIR, Companhia de Águas e Esgotos de Rondônia - CAERD, Secretaria do Meio Ambiente de Rondônia - SEMARO, Câmara dos Deputados, Ministério do Meio Ambiente / IBAMA, Agência Nacional de Águas - ANA e na Escola Federal de Engenharia de Itajubá - EFEI.
Professor da Universidade Federal de Itajubá - UNIFEI, lotado no Instituto de Recursos Naturais-IRN, com atuação nos cursos de Engenharia Ambiental e Engenharia Hídrica, onde foi coordenador. Membro dos Comitês: Bacia do Rio Sapucaí-GD5 / MG e do Entorno do Lago de Furnas-GD3 / MG, foi presidente do Comitê Interestadual da Bacia do Rio Grande -CBH GRANDE. Prefeito eleito em 2016 no município de Itamonte, Minas Gerais para o período de 2017-2020.

Graduate in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1977), Sanitation Specialist and Specialist in Sanitary Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1978). Master in Ecology from the University of Brasilia (1995) and PhD in Environmental Technology and Water Resources at the University of Brasilia (2010), with emphasis on topics: water, environment and energy.
He served in the following public agencies and state: Federal University of Rondônia-UNITE, Water and Sewerage Company of Rondônia-CAERD, Department of the Environment of Rondônia-SEMARO, House of Representatives, the Ministry of Environment / IBAMA and the National Agency for water-ANA.
In private company founded and directed the Philadelphia Engineering and Engineering Consult, and had a stake in the company Ix Consulting.
He is a professor at the Federal University of Itajubá-UNIFEI, crowded at the Institute of Natural Resources-IRN, acting courses in Environmental Engineering and Water Engineering, where he was coordinator. Member of Committees, CBH-GD5/MG Sapucai River Basin and Surrounding Lake Furnas-CBH-GD3/MG. Current president of the Integration Committee of the Rio Grande Basin-CBH GRANDE.
