Mosar Corrêa Rodrigues
Has experience in Genetics, focusing on Mutagenesis
Member of the Nano Immunotest Research Network as a collaborator in the development of a rapid and efficient detection test in saliva sample of individuals infected with the SARS-COV-2 virus ? which causes the COVID-19 disease ? using nanotechnology techniques.
Postdoctoral researcher of the Department of Genetics and Morphology at the University of Brasilia (GEM-UnB), Brazil, working with the Nucleus of Excellence in Nanobiotechnology (NexNano) in search of nanotherapeutic solutions for breast tumors through Photodynamic Therapy (Federal District Research Support Foundation - Fap-DF).
PhD in Animal Biology in Nanoscience and Nanobiotechnology at the University of Brasilia (Brazil) (BioAni-UnB) with the thesis entitled ?Induction of immunogenic cell death by photodynamic therapy mediated by aluminum-phthalocyanine chloride incorporated to nanoemulsion in murine breast cancer cells.?
Master's degree in Nanoscience and Nanobiotechnology at University of Brasilia (PPGNano-UnB 2014). Winner of the best 2014 UnB Thesis and Dissertation Award for the dissertation entitled ?Photodynamic therapy mediated by crajiru extract and aluminum phthalocyanine chloride in nanoemulsions in the treatment of breast cancer in vitro.
In 2016, as fellow researcher of the Project Translocation and Safe Design of Surface Engineered Metal Oxide Nanoparticles (BRASINOEU) at the Institute of Medical Physics and Biophysics at the University of Leipzig (Germany). BRASINOEU is an EU-funded research project in the framework of FP7 - Marie Curie Actions PIRSES (Grant Agreement Number: PIRSES-GA-2012-318916).
Degree in Biological Sciences from the University Center of Patos de Minas (UNIPAM 2010). I have expertise in anticancer, antifungal and antibacterial research with application of Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) mediated by free or nanostructured photosensitizers for applications in vitro and in vivo studies). I have also worked in the School Health Program (PSE), which aims to provide the opportunity to meet health with education to contribute to the basic training of students, through actions of promotion, prevention and health care, within view of facing the vulnerabilities that compromise the full development of children and young people, who are vulnerable to associated problems such as, for example, early pregnancy, contraceptive methods, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), psychological and emotional disorders, problems related to learning, obesity ; disease prevention and other important physiological conditions.
