Augusto Cesar Fadel

Bacharel em Estatística pela Escola Nacional de Ciências Estatísticas (ENCE/IBGE) com mestrado em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), na área de Algoritmos e Otimização. Atua na Coordenção de Métodos e Qualidade da Diretoria de Pesquisas do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) com técnicas de preservação de privacidados em microdados e uso de big data na produção de estatísticas oficiais. É membro do Grupo Técnico do Hub Regional da Plataforma Global da ONU para Big Data no Brasil (hub.ibge.gov.br) e do UN-CEBD Privacy Preserving Techniques Task Team (unstats.un.org/bigdata/task-teams/privacy).

Bachelor in Statistics from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE/IBGE) with a Masters in Computer Science from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), in the area of Algorithms and Optimization. Works at the Methods and Quality Coordination of the Survey Directorate of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), with privacy reserving techniques for microdata and the use of big data in the production of official statistics. Is a member of the Technical Group of the Un Global Platform Regional Hub for Big Data in Brazil (hub.ibge.gov.br) and of the UN-CEBD Privacy Preserving Techniques Task Team (unstats.un.org/bigdata/task-teams/privacy).
