Fabricio Nascimento Ferreira

Graduated in Forest Engineering from the Federal Rural University of the Amazon (2002) and a master's degree in Forest Sciences from the Federal Rural University of the Amazon (2005). Worked at UFRA in a project financed by the European Union between 2005 and 2008 and at IDEFLOR - Forest Development Institute of the State of Pará (Manager and Director) between 2008 and 2010. Since November 2010 has been part of the team of Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária as Analyst "A" from Embrapa Amazônia Oriental. Between 2010 and 2015 worked in the Technology Transfer Programming Implementation Sector - SIPT, linked to the Unit's Deputy Head of Technology Transfer and at the Research and Technology Transfer Support Center - NAPT Sudeste do Pará in Marabá-PA. Since March 2015, it has been part of the Thematic Center for Environment, Forests and Territorial Planning - NT MAFORT, based in Belém-PA. He has experience in public management and research in the area of ​​Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, with an emphasis on Forest Management, working mainly on the following topics: family farming, community and business forest management, agroforestry systems, natural regeneration, reduced impact logging, tropical forestry.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Florestal pela Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia (2002) e mestrado em Ciências Florestais pela Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia (2005). Atuou na UFRA em projeto financiado pela União Européia entre 2005 e 2008 e no IDEFLOR - Insituto de Desenvolvimento Florestal do Estado do Pará (Gerente e Diretor) entre 2008 e 2010. Desde Novembro de 2010 integra a equipe da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária como Analista "A" da Embrapa Amazônia Orienta. Entre 2010 e 2015 atuou no Setor de Implementação da Programação de Transferência de Tecnologias - SIPT, vinculado à Chefia Adjunta de Transferência de Tecnologias da Unidade e no Núcleo de Apoio á Pesquisa e Transferência de Tecnologias - NAPT Sudeste do Pará em Marabá-PA . Desde Março de 2015 passou a compor o Núcleo Temático de Meio Ambiente, Florestas e Ordenamento Territorial - NT MAFORT com sede em Belém-PA. Tem experiência em gestão pública e de pesquisa na área de Recursos Florestais e Engenharia Florestal, com ênfase em Manejo Florestal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: agricultura familiar, manejo florestal comunitário e empresarial, sistemas agroflorestais, regeneração natural, exploração de impacto reduzido, silvicultura tropical.
