Bacharel e Mestre em Geologia pela Universidade de Ghent (2009), com Dissertação de mestrado sobre interação geoquímica entre pegmatitos e as rochas hospedeiras em Naxos, Grécia, orientada pela Profa. Marlina Elburg (2011). Doutorado pela KU Leuven sobre as características de ETR-Y e Lu-Hf de depósitos hidrotermais no Cinturão de Cobre da África Central, orientado pelo Prof. Philippe Muchez (2016). Pós-doutorado na UNICAMP sobre datação de minerais detríticos de sedimentos Proterozóicos em bacias intracontinentais no Cráton do Congo, sob a supervisão do Prof. Elson Paiva de Oliveira. Foi 2x professor substituto na engenharia geológica (UFPEL) ministrando as seguintes disciplinas: cristalografia, mineralogia, petrologia metamórfica, geomorfologia e geodiversidade, geoquímica e prospecção geoquímica como professor responsável; e professor-colaborador na disciplina de mapeamento geológico. Professor na UNICAMP desde 06/2023 atuando na linha de pesquisa sobre Evolução Crustal e Metalogênese e ministrando Geologia de Campo (I,II), Mineralogia e colaborando na disciplina de Geologia Econômica. Atualmente envolvido em colaborações com Viter Pinto (UFPEL) e Léo Hartmann (UFRGS) investigando fragmentos ofiolíticos e rochas relacionadas no Cinturão Dom Feliciano no Brasil e Uruguai. Também colaboro em projetos envolvendo gênese e mineralogia dos solos lateríticos mineralizados em Ni-Co, avaliação de geossítios por meio da geodiversidade e processos tectônicos em Salvador e petrogênese do magmatismo no Arqueano e Proterozóico na região de Correntina-Guanambi, lideradas pela Profa. Natali Barbosa (UFBA).
Bachelor and Master in Geology from the University of Ghent (2009), with a Master's Dissertation on geochemical interaction between pegmatites and host rocks in Naxos, Greece, supervised by Prof. Marlina Elburg (2011). PhD from KU Leuven on REE-Y and Lu-Hf characteristics of hydrothermal reservoirs in the Copper Belt of Central Africa, supervised by Prof. Philippe Muchez (2016). Postdoctoral fellow at UNICAMP on dating detrital minerals from Proterozoic sediments in intracontinental basins in the Congo Craton, under the supervision of Prof. Elson Paiva de Oliveira. Two-time substitute professor in geological engineering (UFPEL) were I taught the following disciplines: crystallography, mineralogy, metamorphic petrology, geomorphology and geodiversity, geochemistry and geochemical prospecting as professor responsible for the discipline; and professor-collaborator in the discipline of geological mapping. Professor at UNICAMP since 06/2023 acting in the research line on Crustal Evolution and Metallogenesis and teaching Field Geology (I, II), Mineralogy and collaborating in the Economic Geology course. Currently involved in collaborations investigating ophiolitic fragments and related rocks in the Dom Feliciano Belt in Rio Grande do Sul and Uruguay in collaboration with Profs. Viter Pinto (UFPEL) and Léo Hartmann (UFRGS). I'm also presently collaborating in projects involving the genesis and mineralogy of lateritic soils mineralized in Ni-Co, evaluation of geosites through geodiversity, tectonic processes and petrogenesis of magmatism in the Archean and Proterozoic in the region of Correntina-Guanambi and São José do Jaquipe, led by Prof. Natalia Barbosa (UFBA).
