Bruna Mayer de Souza

Bruna has PhD through PROURB - UFRJ (2022), where she develop the concept of Hybrid Places with the thesis "Dwelling in Hybrid Places: the Experience of Place with Ubiquitous Internet". She has a Master's (2013) and a B.A. (2011) in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Bruna participated as a visiting research scholar with Prof. PhD. Petra Kempf at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA. During her Master's, she was Communications Coordinator in the Brazilian team at the Solar Decathlon 2012, where the team was awarded 3rd place in Sustainability. She has experience in Architectural Design, Construction Work supervision and as a university level professor. She taught at Centro Universitário Geraldo di Biase from 2014 to 2019.

Possui PhD pelo PROURB - UFRJ (2022), onde desenvolveu o conceito de lugares híbridos com a tese "Dwelling in Hybrid Places: the Experience of Place with Ubiquitous Internet". Mestrado e Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2013). Realizou Doutorado Sanduíche com a Prof. PhD. Petra Kempf na Washington University in St Louis, MO, EUA. Durante o mestrado participou como Coordenadora de Comunicação na equipe Brasileira no Solar Decathlon Europe 2012, onde a equipe conquistou o 3º lugar na prova de Sustentabilidade. Tem experiência em projetos de arquitetura, fiscalização de obras e como professora universitária. Lecionou no Centro Universitário Geraldo di Biase de 2014 a 2019.
