David Ferez

Born in Ribeirão Preto, state of São Paulo, in 1959, he graduated in primary and secondary courses at local educational institutions. He transferred to São Paulo to undertake a degree in Medicine at Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP in 1977, graduating in 1982. He obtained Specialist in Anesthesiology through the MEC/SBA Medical Residency Course in Anesthesiology at Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP, graduating in 1984. He joined the teaching career in the Discipline of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Intensive Medicine at Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP in 1986. He obtained the Superior Title in Anesthesiology by the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology and the title Specialist in Intensive Medicine by the Brazilian Association of Intensive Medicine in 1986. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine in Cardiovascular Surgery area in 1992. He held various positions on the boards of the São Paulo State Society of Anesthesiology from 1990 to 2003 as a member of the committee scientific director, scientific director, and vice president. He has elected President of the Society of Anesthesiology of the State of São Paulo in the 2002-2003 biennium. Co-responsible for the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology Teaching and Training Center at Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP-Hospital São Paulo MEC/SBA from 1986 to 2010 when he became responsible for the Teaching Training Center Beneficência Portuguesa MEC/SBA in 2010 and was the accountable supervisor until the time. He was Head of the Discipline of Anesthesiology from 2003 to 2006 and 2015 to 2018. Preceptor of Medical Residency in Anesthesiology MEC at Escola Paulista de Medicina / UNIFESP-Hospital São Paulo MEC. Coordinator of the Emergency Care Principles modality course in the 1st cycle and the 2nd cycle year since 2016 until now and Coordinator of the Anesthesiology course 4th year of Medicine since 2007 until now, Professor of Medicine at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (2013), and Founder of the Anesthesiology League of the Anhembi-Morumbi University (2015). Co-Founder of the Foundation for Patient Safety (2014). Experience in Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Intensive Care Medicine specialties. Anesthesiologist at the AMD Group at the Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital of São Paulo.

Nascido em Ribeirão Preto estado de São Paulo, em 1959, formou-se nos cursos primário e secundário em instituições de ensino local. Transferiu-se para São Paulo para realizar a graduação em Medicina pela Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP no ano de 1977, graduando-se em 1982. Ingressou na carreira docente na Disciplina de Anestesiologia, Dor e Medicina Intensiva da Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP no ano de 1986. Obteve o Título Superior em Anestesiologia pela Sociedade Brasileira de Anestesiologia e o Título de Especialista em Medicina Intensiva pela Associação de Medicina Intensiva Brasileira em 1986. Titulou-se Doutor em Medicina na área de Cirurgia Cardiovascular em 1992. Exerceu vários cargos nas diretorias da Sociedade de Anestesiologia do Estado de São Paulo entre 1990 a 2003 como membro da comissão científica, diretor científico e vice presidente. Foi eleito Presidente da Sociedade de Anestesiologia do Estado de São Paulo no biênio de 2002-2003. Corresponsável Centro Ensino e Treinamento da Sociedade Brasileira de Anestesiologia na Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP-Hospital São Paulo MEC/SBA de 1986 a 2010 quando se tronou responsável do Centro de Ensino Treinamento Beneficência Portuguesa MEC/SBA de 2010 e supervisor responsável pelo MEC até o momento. Foi Chefe da Disciplina de Anestesiologia de 2003 a 2006 e 2015 a 2018. Preceptor da Residência Médica em Anestesiologia MEC na Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP-Hospital São Paulo MEC. Coordenador do curso modalidade Princípios de Atendimento às Urgências da Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP no 1º ano e do 2º ano desde 2016 até 2021. Coordenador do curso de Anestesiologia 4º ano de medicina desde 2007 até o momento. Foi professor de Medicina na Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (2013) e Fundador da Liga de Anestesiologia da Universidade Anhembi-Morumbi (2015). Co-Fundador da Fundação para a Segurança do Paciente (2014). Experiência na área Medicina, nas especialidades Anestesiologia e Medicina Intensiva.
