Renata Parpolov Costa

Doutoranda em Estudos Árabes, atualmente pesquisando a historiografia produzida pelo autor egípcio Aljabarti, o qual narrou a invasão francesa ao Egito no final do século XVIII. Mestre em Estudos Árabes, com dissertação sobre História Contemporânea da Síria com ênfase na primeira década do século XXI. Integrante do Grupo de Tradução de Poesia Árabe Contemporânea GTPAC, trabalha com a tradução das poetas Fadwa Touqan e Salma Jayyousi . Bacharel e Licenciada em Português e Alemão pela Universidade de São Paulo (2008), tem experiência na área de ensino de língua inglesa, língua árabe, língua alemã e língua portuguesa. Especialista em Política e Relações Internacionais pela Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política, SP. Atuou também como intérprete voluntária nos idiomas árabe, inglês e português no Centro de Referência para Refugiados da Cáritas Arquidiocesana de São Paulo.

PhD Student in Arabic Studies, is nowadays researching the historiography produced by Egyptian author Aljabarti, which narrated the French invasion to Egypt in the last years of XVIIIth century. Master Degree in Arabic Studies, with a dissertation about Contemporary History of Syria with emphasis in the first decade of the XXIth century. Member of GTPAC, the Translation Group for Contemporary Poetry in Arabic, works with the translation of poets Fadwa Touqan and Salma Jayyousi . Undergraduated in Portuguese Studies and German Studies by the University of São Paulo(2008). Experience in foreign language teaching for English, Arabic, German and Portuguese. Specialist in Politics and International Relations, certified by Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política, SP. Also a voluntary interpreter for Arabic, English and Portuguese in the Reference Center for Refugees in Cáritas Arquidiocesana de São Paulo.
