Eitan Friedman

Graduated in Medicine (MD) - Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University (1979) and Doctorate in Medicine (PhD) - Karolinska Institutet (1994). Currently a Full Professor at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. I have experience in the area of Medicine, with emphasis on Cancerology and Genetics. Director and founder of the Suzanne Levy-Gertner Oncogenetics Unit at Sheba Medical Center. The Oncogenetics Unit led by me counsels and genetically tests individuals with a personal or family history of cancer. The main focus is breast and ovarian cancer but we offer services for all cancer types. Main research areas: inherited predisposition to cancer, population genetics, and molecular mechanisms of stress fracture development.
